Alex Gorbachov
Dr. Alex Gorbachov is a highly accomplished system architect and circuit designer with over 30 years of experience in RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave design. He currently serves as the Senior Fellow of RF Systems & Architecture at Mobix Labs, a fabless semiconductor company specializing in advanced connectivity solutions for 5G wireless and high-bandwidth cable networks.
In his role at Mobix Labs, Dr. Gorbachov focuses on innovating and developing disruptive and advanced RF intellectual property and architectures, contributing significantly to the company's technological advancements.
Prior to joining Mobix Labs, Dr. Gorbachov co-founded RFaxis, where he served as Chief Technology Officer. At RFaxis, he and his team created disruptive technologies in Wi-Fi, Zigbee, and ISM band applications, shipping more than 150 million units worldwide before the company's acquisition by Skyworks Inc.
Throughout his career, Dr. Gorbachov has been a prolific inventor, holding more than 70 patents and authoring over 40 publications. His extensive expertise and innovative contributions have been instrumental in the development of numerous products designed into Tier 1 cellular handsets, PCs, and various consumer devices.
His comprehensive experience and leadership in RF systems and architecture significantly contribute to Mobix Labs' mission to deliver innovative connectivity solutions in the rapidly evolving technology landscape.
