In February 2021, he joined the board of directors at Mobix Labs, a fabless semiconductor company specializing in 5G mmWave wireless technology.
Prior to his role at Mobix Labs, Goerner served as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Microsemi Corporation, where he played a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and market presence. His extensive career also includes serving as President and CEO of TransDimension Inc., a company focused on embedded interconnectivity solutions for PC peripheral and mobile markets.
Goerner's leadership experience is further highlighted by his tenure as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Texas Instruments/Silicon Systems Storage Products Group, a business unit with over $1 billion in revenue. During his 17-year tenure at Silicon Systems, he held senior management, business unit, marketing, and sales positions, contributing to the company's revenue growth from $15 million to over $500 million.
