James Peterson
James J. Peterson is a distinguished executive with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. He joined Mobix Labs as Executive Chairman in 2021, bringing a wealth of leadership expertise to the company.
Prior to his role at Mobix Labs, Peterson served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Microsemi Corporation, a leading provider of semiconductor solutions. He joined Microsemi in April 1999 following the company's acquisition of Linfinity Microelectronics, Inc., where he was President and Chief Operating Officer. At Microsemi, Peterson was instrumental in driving the company's growth and innovation in the semiconductor market.
Before his tenure at Linfinity, Peterson held senior worldwide marketing and sales management positions at Silicon Systems, Inc., contributing to the company's success in the mass storage and communications markets. He also held marketing management roles at Rockwell Corporation and General Instruments Microelectronics.
