Chief Executive Officer
Fabian Battaglia
Fabian Battaglia is a 35-year veteran of the tech industry where he served as Sr. Vice President of Sales at Microsemi from 2007 to 2018 and led a global team managing over $2B of annual sales. At Microsemi, Fabian developed sales and engineering support processes deployed directly to Fortune 500 and well recognized international companies serving communications, medical, aerospace and defense, industrial and data storage markets. Fabian held multiple management roles in Field Application Engineering for leading semiconductor companies such as Texas Instruments and Maxim Integrated Products. Fabian also worked 5 years as a Design Engineer focused on advanced system development for Ford, General Motors and Chrysler. Fabian holds a BSEE from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield Michigan.

Keyvan Samini
Keyvan Samini has more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in the semiconductor and software industries. Keyvan has a proven track record leading mergers, acquisitions, corporate development, finance, and governance. He has either led or represented such organizations as Western Digital, BioDiscovery, Dow Corning, Pitchtime, and Rfaxis, holding such roles as CEO, COO, CFO and corporate counsel. Keyvan has a proven track record in scaling and ramping growth in technology organizations and has worked closely with institutional investors in driving portfolio companies. Keyvan earned his Master of Liberal Arts, Finance at Harvard University, his MBA at the University of Southern California, and his JD at the Ohio State University.

Jim Aralis
Jim Aralis joined Microsemi in January of 2007, where he served as chief technology officer and as senior vice president of advanced development until June 2018. Aralis retired after the acquisition of Microsemi. In retirement he spends time consulting, advising, and serving on boards of various companies and philanthropic organizations. Aralis has spent more than 40 years in the development of analog, digital, and mixed signal integrated circuits, systems, and software/firmware. He has also contributed to the development of custom analog device and process technologies and CAD systems. Prior to joining Microsemi, Aralis started, staffed and managed the Maxim Integrated Products design center in Irvine, California, which designed physical layer ICs for fiber optic communications. He also managed an AFE design team designing high performance disk drive read channels for TI/SSi. In addition, Aralis worked on the design and design management of analog and digital integrated circuits for Hughes Aircraft Company. Aralis received a Bachelor of Science degree in Math Applied Science and Physics and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from UCLA. He holds numerous patents and publications and has given technical and keynote presentation in many conferences across the world.

Kirby Lam
Kirby Lam is a highly respected and accomplished designer and engineering executive with over 35 years of experience in RF & Mixed Signal IC design. Kirby started his IC design career at Rockwell International’s Semiconductor Products Division. His career evolved into high level technical and leadership roles at several first tier Semiconductor companies, including Qualcomm. At these companies, he led the development of numerous devices from concept to mass production. These devices included several Modem, Read Channel, GPS, and 802.11 Wi-Fi ICs. Kirby has published 6 papers and has 7 U.S. patents granted. He completed his BSEE with High Distinction and MSEE from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada.

Alex Gorbachov
Dr. Gorbachov is a highly accomplished system architect and circuit designer with over 30 years of experience in RF/Microwave and Millimeter-Wave design. With 70+ patents and 40+ publications, Dr. Gorbachov has successfully led the development efforts of numerous products that have been designed into Tier-1 cellular handset, PC, and various consumer electronic devices. As Co-founder and CTO of RFaxis, Dr. Gorbachov and his team created disruptive technology in WiFi, Zigbee, and ISM band applications which shipped over 150 million pieces worldwide before being acquired by Skyworks Inc.

Phil Sansone
Phil Sansone brings 30+ years of worldwide sales experience to Mobix Labs. He has vast experience leading international partnerships and worldwide distribution channels, as well as global sales and technical teams. Prior to Mobix Labs, Phil served as vice president of global distribution sales for MaxLinear, a provider of radio frequency, analog, digital and mixed-signal integrated circuits. He previously was vice president of global distribution sales at Microsemi Corp., a provider of analog and mixed-signal semiconductor solutions that was acquired by Microchip Technology in 2018. Earlier in his career, Phil spent nearly two decades at electronic components distributor Avnet, where he eventually led North American sales and engineering teams as senior vice president.
